No golfer needs an introduction to Tom Weiskopf: British
Open Champion (1973), twice Canadian Open Champion (1973 and 1975),
a total of 15 PGA tour championships, and voted "Player of
the Year" in 1973.
In 1984, Weiskopf became a golf course design consultant with architect Jay Morrish. This
team has designed and built courses from Scottsdale to Hawaii to Scotland - some 18 in all -
several voted among the 100 best courses in the world.
Jay Morrish, Tom's architect partner, has worked with Weiskopf since they formed the
team in 1984. He served his apprenticeship with Robert Trent Jones, worked with other
famous designers until he teamed up with Weiskopf in '84. Alone and with Weiskopf, Morrish
has built championship courses throughout the U.S. and the golfing world.
